මමත් සිංහල පුරුදු උනා..
අපේ ගෙදර උන් පන්සල් එක්ක ගිය නිසා
මමත් බුද්ධාගම් කාරයෙක් උනා..
අපේ ගෙදර උන් ඉස්කෝලේ යවපු නිසා
මම ඉගෙනගත්තා..
ජීවත්වෙන්න ඕන නිසා දැන් රස්සාවක් කරනවා..
